Dehumidification can be complicated, but don’t worry—the PureAiro team has you covered. As the old saying goes: there is no such thing as a silly question.


Dehumidifiers work to extract humid air from a space and heat it up before turning it into vapor. The vapor is then condensed into water within a tube, where it then drains off from other parts of the system. The newly dry air is then re-warmed to room temperature and released back into the space.

When your dehumidifier is on the fritz, don’t worry. Here is some advice to help put it back into the correct gear:

1.Check its temperature range and ensure that the plug has been correctly inserted.

First, ensure that your unit is placed on firm, supportive, flat ground. Then, check the filter mesh to be sure that it is not jammed. If you notice that the filter mesh is jammed, remove it, clean it, and put it back in.
